Rite of Passage Scroll

Rite of Passage under traditional standards marks a persons change of
status it marks a passage from one stage of life to another.  The term
was popularised by the French in the early part of the twentieth century.
Rite of passage are often ceremonies surrounding special events or
other milestones in a persons life.

The goal of the Rite of Passage  Scroll iis to emotionally prepare
adolescents to move from one stage of life to another.  As sure as the
time will arrive for an individual to move from one stage to another he/she
must certainly be prepared to move into that stage.  Lack of proper
preparation will result in a chaotic transition.

Rite of Passage  Scroll helps young people recognize the existence  of a
decision making period in life, and during this period the decisions made
will move a young person  from childlike behavior, impulsive decision
making and underdeveloped self-concept and point  them  in the direction
of being a productive, self confident citizens in society.

By failing to acknowledge this period in a child's life, not seeking to
develop the child during this crucial period leaves them searching for their
identify for many years to come even  into adulthood.

A Birthday Wish

SEK believes the most powerful influence in a child's life comes with
consistent input.  SEK therefore developed "A birthday wish".  The child
receives positive age appropriate birthday affirmations from the
subscriber.  We generally recommend the child began receiving  birthday
wishes at age 3, however at special request we will develop a birthday
message for birth and 2 year olds.  The birthday messages can be
chronologed in a manuel, it serves as a powerful tool of affirmation to
review as a child grows into adolescent and adulthood.  It also serves as
reinforcement of feelings long forgotten.

Birthday wishes are usually written on a 8'x 10'  card stock paper, they
include serene background picture and text is age appropriate is
determined by our professional staff.  Messages to our younger recipients
are simple messages expressing love from the subscriber.  Messages
become more thought provoking and geared toward providing guidance
in conjunction with the recipients age.  We make every effort to include the
recipients name in the message, and all messages are sent in the name
of the subscriber unless otherwise requested.  Each Birthday wish is
